Coach Hagen Schmidt is the founder of Path to Pro Soccer and brings a true professional, European development background to every session. A UEFA Pro License holder, he has coached at the highest youth levels in Germany with clubs such as Borussia Mönchengladbach and VfL Wolfsburg, and served as a professional head coach in the German leagues. With experience as a former professional player and elite academy coach, Hagen is passionate about developing intelligent, technically strong players. His mission is to help players master the ball, understand the game, and confidently take the next step in their soccer journey.

Alex Schmidt

Coach Alex Schmidt brings elite coaching experience to Path to Pro Soccer, having rebuilt Nyack College (now Alliance University) men’s soccer program, earning CACC Coach of the Year honors in 2021, before joining UC Riverside (NCAA Division I). A former four-year starter, he won the CACC Championship in 2011 and helped his team reach its first-ever NCAA tournament. Alex has coached in the Hallescher FC youth academy and currently develops players in Charlotte Independence national programs. Holding a USSF B License, he is passionate about building technically sharp, intelligent, and confident players.
